Blurb/Synopsis:

Start of Domino series

Peter Rostovich is an enigmatic international artist with ties to the Russian mafia. He manipulates everyone he comes in contract with and nobody can figure him out—not even himself. More than that, he has a taste for bondage, which he infuses into his art.

Virginal Nancy Delaney is an aspiring reporter who tries to crack Peter’s shell. His work is like nothing she’s ever seen—complete with a live sculpture that gets the exhibit shut down by the police.

Peter hates reporters, but Nancy captivates him to the point where he makes her part of his exhibit within seconds of meeting her. He introduces her to the world of BDSM, but his involvement in the criminal underworld puts Nancy in the sights of his fiercest enemy.

Kay's Review
Okay, I've got to start by warning readers that this ends in a cliff-hanger. You'll know I'm not a fan of those. I knew that before I started reading so it wasn't so much of the shock factor. Rather it was the abruptness of it. One minute you're racing along with the story, the next you're careening off the edge of a cliff. The story ends in the middle of a nail-biting scene, so be warned.

Having said all that this is a great story that mixes international intrigue with sex and drama. This story is about Nancy who meets Peter by chance because she had to cover an Art exhibition event for her friend. Peter is a reclusive wealthy artist with links to Russian Oligarchs / Ukrainian organised criminals.

I found it quite intriguing reading this story about Russian / Ukrainian characters especially with the current problems going on in the Crimea. The issues highlighted are very topical. This is erotica so expect loads of sizzling sex scenes. There is plenty to get you going, "Oh my!"
Despite a slow start, once it picks up pace, the suspense ramps up quickly. The characters are well developed, I found myself really liking Nancy and Peter kind of grew on me. J

Do I recommend this book? Yes. But if like me you're wary of cliff-hangers then you should wait and pick up the next book of the series, Butterfly Effect, when it comes out. And I really hope there are no more cliff-hangers. J
